Jason Thomas & KR4 Performance Continue On The GNCC Trail In Kentucky.
Jason Thomas's seventh place finish in the GNCC XC2 PRO-LITES Class at yesterday's Can-Am 'Mammoth' event might not look that great a result on paper,but looks can be deceiving,&,in Jason's case,they certainaly are.Since taking the decision to go his own way earlier this Month,& then hooking up with KR4 Performance/Keegan Wireless's Frank Keegan & family,Thomas is a changed man.Looking relaxed & happy around the GNCC paddock,Jason,his wife Laci,& their charming little fur-bundle,Kip,are obviously enjoying the whole GNCC experience far more these days.But looks really can be deceiving,&,once the gloves are on,Thomas is still just as potent & deadly a racer as ever.There's no question,the combination of Thomas & the KR4 250 KTM two-stroke are a win just waiting to happen.At times yesterday it looked like that moment had come,but,frustratingly,things just didn't go Thomas's way on the day.Watching how Thomas's whole new situation is unfolding though,its impossible not to be convinced that his time will soon come.There's just so much positive energy around him,& his whole demeanour says he's comfortable with himself,& happy in his work.As the GNCC Circus moves on to Springville,Indiana,for Round 6 of the 2012 Series,be sure to watch this space.
