INJURED THOMAS HANGS TOUGH AT STEELE CREEK.

1st Apr 2012

Sixth spot for F.A.R. Husqvarna Racer.

F.A.R.Husqvarna/Rockwell Time's Jason Thomas put in another determined performance this weekend to take sixth place overall in the XC2 PRO-LITES Class at round three of this season's GNCC Championship, the FMF Steele Creek event, held at Morganton,North Carolina.Racing the F.A.R.Husqvarna TXC250F,Thomas,who suffered a painfull back injury whilst practicing for the event on Friday, held on to third position for much of the three-hour race, but found it increasingly difficult to keep up his momentum as the pain from the injury took it's toll.Never a competitor who gives up,Jason dug deep into his reserve's of strength to take a creditable & well deserved finish by the chequered flag. With two week's ahead of him now in which to rest & recuperate,Jason will be back in GNCC action at round four of this year's schedule, the V.P.Racing 'Big Buck' event, which will be held over the weekend of 14th-15th April in Union,South Carolina.
