2ND SPOT IN FLORIDA FOR F.A.R.HUSQVARNA'S JASON THOMAS.

9th Mar 2011

F.A.R.Husqvarna's Jason Thomas has opened his 2011 GNCC race account with an excellent 2nd place finish in the XC2 PRO-LITES Class at the 1st round of the series, the Moose Racing Westgate River Ranch,Florida, event.

Racing the all-new fuel-injected TXC250F machine,Thomas put in a great performance despite having had less time on the bike pre-season than he would have liked;"Its been a really tough start to the season for me this year.Due to my new contract with Fred Andrews & Husqvarna,i had to apply for a different type of U.S.work Visa, which took a little over a Month to come through.Fred found an Immigration Lawyer who did an awesome job for me by getting my petition processed as quickly as possible, but, with all the running around,i've still only been able to practice & train on the new bike here for a couple of weeks.Everything is coming good now though,& its a relief to be back in GNCC action again! My bike has been awesome here in the sand today,Husqvarna are producing some real class products for the Off-Road market right now,& im delighted & proud to have the opportunity of working with them.I'd like to say a big thankyou to my team, especially Joey,my mechanic,& everyone at Husqvarna.I'd also like to especially thank everyone who has helped & supported me over the past couple of Month's,thanks guys,it means so much to have people like you around me."
Jason will be back in action on the F.A.R.Husqvarna again this coming weekend,at round 2 of this year's GNCC series, the Maxxis General, which will be held at the Aonia Pass circuit in Georgia.
