F.A.R.Husqvarna/Rockwell Time's Jason Thomas gave a remarkable display of skill & determination this past weekend at the final two rounds of this season's GNCC Series,the Part's Unlimited Loretta Lynn's double-header event,which was held at the World-famous Motocross circuit in Hurricane Mills,Tennessee.

Racing his F.A.R.Husqvarna TXC250F in the XC2 PRO-LITES Class,Thomas,who underwent surgery to repair a fracture of his right hand only a few days before the event,put in an amazing performance,which delivered him not only a 4th place finish overall in the XC2 PRO-LITES Class of 2011,but also an A.M.A. National Number 7 plate for the 2012 GNCC Series.Jason's brave performance earned him the admiration & respect of the GNCC trackside crowd,which included his Father,Jeremy,Fiancee Laci,& close racer friend from the United Kingdom,Ricky Mair.Speaking of his Son's efforts after Sunday's 3-hour race,Jason's Dad said: "Im extremely proud of what Jason has achieved here this weekend,& also throughout what has actually been a very difficult season for him.He's had so much bad luck in 2011,& we will all be glad i think to see the end of this year.His performances here at Loretta's have truely humbled me.On Friday,i could see he was in a great deal of pain,but he fought on to the end of the race & got a 4th place finish,which was far better than any of us expected really.Today,after a nasty crash on the 2nd lap which i was sure had hurt him again,he surprised everybody by getting back to the front of the pack & finishing in 2nd spot.He was actually leading the race going into the last lap,which had us all on the edges of our seats waiting at the final Motocross track!! I just dont really know how he's done what he's done to be honest,but he has always been a driven person,so i guess its what we've all come to expect from him,& he certainly never ever lets us down!! I just hope he can take some time out now to rest up & recuperate a little,he has a very busy year in 2012,as F.A.R.Husqvarna have signed him for the National Enduro Series as well as the GNCC's."

Jason doesn't have much time to take a rest yet though,as he has had the great good fortune to have been selected by the organizers of the GNCC Series to represent them at the last round of the Japanese National Cross-Country Championships!! This event takes place over the weekend of November 19th-20th,at the Green Valley circuit in Aso Kuju National Park,Kyushu,Japan.
