25th Oct 2011

F.A.R.Husqvarna/Rockwell Time's Jason Thomas fought through the pain of a broken hand this weekend,to put on a brave & determined display of courage at round 13 of the 2011 GNCC race series, the Amsoil 'Ironman'.

Racing the F.A.R.Husqvarna TXC250F in the XC2 PRO-LITES Class at the Crawfordsville,Indiana circuit,Thomas overcame a serious first-lap crash on one of the many steep river bluff decent's which left him with a broken finger on his right hand.Digging deep into his reserves of strength,Thomas succeeded in working his way back through the GNCC field, finally finishing the three-hour race in 12th position overall & 6th position in the XC2 PRO-LITES class. His brave performance paid off in terms of his point position in both the Overall GNCC Championship, where he currently occupies the number Seven spot,& in the XC2 PRO-LITES Class, where he holds onto a Third place position.Due to severe weather which forced the cancellation earlier this year of two GNCC rounds, all attention now focuses on the weekend of 4th-6th November, when the GNCC series organizers will run a double-header event at the World famous Loretta Lynn's Motocross facility in Hurricane Mills,Tennessee.
