THOMAS THE TANK.
7th Sep 2010
Jason Thomas still unbeaten in Canadian Nationals.
Jason Thomas was in top form again this weekend at the
FMSQ Two-Day event held at Bois Franc, Quebec, Canada. The 24 year-old
celebrated his selection for this years British 6 Days Trophy team by
winning every special test in Saturday`s time-card event. Once again
aboard the ELKA-KTM XC250F,Jason found the tight technical conditions of
the Canadian forests very much to his liking,& ideal preparation
for September`s trip to Greece. Sunday saw another dominating
performance by the Nomadic Brit, this time in the 3 Hour Cross-Country
event, which utilized parts of the Saturday circuit along with fresh
areas of forest. Jason says he had a great time over the weekend,&
he would like to say thank you to all those who made it possible,
particularly Allan & Ann Lachapelle from LRP Racing, Patrick Beaule
from KTM, Everyone at ELKA Suspension & all of the event organizers.
Jason will be staying in Canada until the end of August to contest the
remaining rounds of the FMSQ series in preparation for the 6 Days event
in September, where he will be riding a KTM EXC250F, very kindly
provided by his major British sponsor, Rudy Austin, in the E1 class.
Following the 6 Days competition, he will be returning to do battle in
the final 4 rounds of the GNCC series in America, as a member of the
Monster Energy Andrews Yamaha Team.
