Jason Thomas takes 2nd at GNCC round 7!
There was rolling thunder in the hills of Somerset,
Pennylvania, this weekend as the Mountain Ridge GNCC racers hit town.
Once again Britain`s Jason Thomas was a man on a mission as he sliced
his way through the field after a bad start to take 2nd place in the XC2
PRO-LITES class on the Monster Energy Andrews Yamaha YZ250F. Splitting
the factory KTM machines of Kailub Russell, who won the class,& Cory
Buttrick, who took 3rd, Thomas put in six consistently fast laps during
the 3 hour race, demonstrating once again that whatever the track
conditions, sand, mud, rock or hard-packed, he has the skill to cope
with them. This weekend`s result puts Jason back up into 3rd place
overall in the GNCC XC2 PRO-LITES class. With two more rounds of the
championship before the Summer break & four after it, there`s still a
long way to go & plenty of points left to fight for.
