Jason Thomas adds another consistent ride to his GNCC Championship. THOMAS NAILS HIS 10TH GNCC PODIUM!!
Monster Energy Andrews Yamaha rider Jason Thomas has
scored his 10th XC2 PRO-LITES GNCC Podium at this weekend`s John Penton
round, held at Millfield, Ohio. The 25 year old British racer, riding
the Fred Andrews YZ250F,was once again up there at the front of the
Overall GNCC field & took a very well deserved 3rd place. Jason`s
forthright approach & exciting performances are also earning him
quite a following off the track amongst the GNCC fans & organizers.
He had this to say after the race: ` I`m really enjoying myself these
days at the GNCC`s. I`ve made a lot of friends here now & I think
people are interested in finding out why I`ve come all this way to race
& what goes on in my life away from the track. Recently, I`ve become
really good friends with Thad Duvall & his family. Thad & I
have been riding a lot together over the past couple of weeks down at
his home in West Virginia,&,as we`re both on Yamaha`s,it makes sense
for us to try & help each other in any way we can. It was great to
have another good ride here today & I`d like to dedicate it to my
Mechanic, Joey,& his partner Brooke,to celebrate the Birth of their
Baby Daughter. Congratulation`s Guys!!` Jason`s result this weekend
helps him to gain a few more points advantage in the battle for the
overall GNCC XC2 PRO-LITES title. He is currently in 3rd position
overall in the Championship. Next up is the motorcycleUSA.com round,
being held at the ski resort of Snowshoe, high in the mountains of West
