BRITISH BLIZZARDS SWEEP SNOWSHOE!!!!
British riders David Knight & Jason Thomas both made
the climb to the top step of the GNCC podium at this weekend`s
motorcycleUSA.com event held at the breathtaking Snowshoe Ski resort in
West Virginia. David won the XC1 PRO class aboard his 450F
Kawasaki,whilst Monster Energy Andrews Yamaha rider Jason captured his
second GNCC XC2 PRO-LITES win on the Fred Andrews Racing YZ250F. It was a
bumper payday for both riders at this unique event,with Thousands of
extra bonus Dollars being added to the regular GNCC prize fund by
Industry Sponsors keen to get maximum publicity at this round of the
World`s premier Off-Road series.
Both Knight & Thomas led their respective classes from the start of the race,& both ended the day comfortably ahead of their nearest competition.The Snowshoe event was the first time David`s U.S. fans have seen him compete in a GNCC race this season, whereas Jason is a GNCC regular now,& currently holds Third place overall in the XC2 PRO-LITES Championship.
The Snowshoe weekend marks the beginning of the Summer break for the GNCC racers,the next round of the Championship will be the Can-Am Unadilla event,held over the weekend of 12th-13th September,at the famous AMA Outdoor National Motocross Track near New Berlin,New York. Photos Matt Ware
