UK7 fights trough the pain and takes second at round 2! Second spot for Jason at the General.
Monster Energy Andrew`s Yamaha rider Jason Thomas has
scored an impressive 2nd place finish in the XC2 PRO-LITES Class at
round two of this years GNCC Series, the Maxxis General, held on Sunday,
at the Aonia Pass Motocross facility near Washington, Georgia. Aboard
the Fred Andrew`s YZ250,Jason battled for the lead with the Factory
KTM`s of Kailub Russell & Jesse Robinson all afternoon, with Russell
finally taking the win & Robinson claiming 3rd.Thomas,who sustained
a wrist injury at round one of the Series last week in Florida, dug
deep & fought the pain for the duration of the 3 hour race,& was
delighted with his result. The change from the deep sand of Florida, to
the hard-packed red clay of Georgia, suited the four-strokes, but the
tight woods & creek crossings of round three, the FMF Steele Creek
event, held over the weekend of March 20th-21st,should make things a
little more even.
