THOMAS STRIKES BACK AT UNADILLA.
12th Sep 2011

F.A.R. Husqvarna/Rockwell Time's Jason Thomas succeeded in pulling back seven valuable GNCC XC2 PRO-LITES Championship points yesterday, with an excellent 2nd place finish at the Can-Am Unadilla race, held at New Berlin,in badly flood-affected Up-State New York.
Racing the F.A.R. Husqvarna TXC250F,Thomas came agonizingly close to taking the overall victory, after leading the XC2 Class for almost all of the race, but a blockage of back-marker's on the final hillclimb of the day slowed him down, allowing 2nd place rider,Jordan Ashburn,to slip past & take the win.Thomas looked both very fast & very strong yesterday, putting in consistent lap-times all through the 9-lap,3-hour event. The Salem,Ohio based Cross-Country racer was up-beat about his own,& his machine's,performance at the end of the day, safe in the knowledge that his result this weekend puts him very much back on track in the XC2 Championship points battle, with still another five races left to go.Next up for Jason & his F.A.R Husqvarna/Rockwell Time race-team is the Mountain Ridge GNCC event, which will be held at Somerset,Pennsylvania over the weekend of September 24th/25th.
