2ND GNCC PODIUM FOR F.A.R. HUSQVARNA`S JASON THOMAS.

15th Mar 2011

F.A.R. Husqvarna/Rockwell Time`s Jason Thomas made his 2nd trip up onto the GNCC XC2 PRO-LITES Podium this weekend with an impressive 3rd spot finish at Round 2 of this season`s series, the Maxxis General, which was held at Aonia Pass,Washington,Georgia.

Racing the increasingly impressive Husqvarna TXC250F,Thomas absorbed the punishment inflicted by a major 1st lap crash, which could easily have ended his day,but exploded his Camel-Back in the process, leaving him without hydration for the rest of the race.
By the mid-point of the 3 hour event,Thomas, who, along with the Fred Andrews race team, has done much to raise the profile of Husqvarna`s Off-Road capability Stateside in recent GNCC events, had worked his way back up to 4th place,& managed to continue with his charge for the remainder of the event, grabbing 3rd spot with a lap left to go.
Jason & the F.A.R.Husqvarna team will be back in GNCC action over the weekend of March 26th-27th,at Round 3 of the 2011 series, the FMF Steele Creek event, which will be held at Morganton,North Carolina.
