HARD ROCK RUN FOR THOMAS.
30th May 2011

F.A.R. Husqvarna/Rockwell Time`s Jason Thomas put on a brave display of courage & determination this weekend,as he battled with the after-effects of a recent heavy crash, which left him with a dislocated collarbone, compressed vertebrae,& bruised kidney`s.
The tough Brit salvaged a 5th spot finish in the XC2 PRO-LITES Class on
his F.A.R. Husqvarna TXC250F,at round five of this season`s GNCC
Series,the Rock Run,held in Patton,Pennsylvania.Thomas`s decision to
race proved a successful damage limitation strategy,as he preserved some
valuable points,& thereby still maintains a firm grip on 2nd place
in the XC2 PRO-LITES Class overall.With a four-week break from now until
round six of the GNCC series, the Motosport.com Snowshoe,West Virginia
event on June 25th-26th,Thomas knows he has bought himself some time for
his body to mend. Also, the re-scheduling of two rounds of the GNCC
series due to bad weather, means Thomas still has eight rounds left to
race, with the bulk of these after the traditional GNCC Summer Break,so
there`s still a long way to go for him in this 2011 Championship.
