GNCC Round 10 - Can-Am Unadilla - New Berlin - New York.
KR4 Performance/Rockwell Time's Jason Thomas's GNCC Championship battle took up where it left off back in July this weekend, following the series Summer break, at Round 10, the Can-Am Unadilla event,held at the World-famous Motocross complex in New Berlin, New York. Once more showing his determination & capabilities,Thomas soon got his KTM 250XC to the front on the 30 Rider-strong XC2 PRO-LITES Class, & kept it there for over half of the 3-hour race. Everything was shaping up for another nail-biting GNCC climax, when lady luck intervened & he found himself buried up to the tank in a mudhole!! Precious time ticked by as he extricated his machine, but never a Racer who gives up, Thomas managed to get the bike going again & salvaged some much-needed Championship points with an 8th place finish. With three Round's of GNCC racing left before the end of the Season, Thomas sits in second place in the XC2 PRO-LITES Class, & holds fifth spot overall in the Series. Jason & his KR4 Performance Team will be back in GNCC action at Round 11, the I.T.P.Power Line Park event, which will be held at St Clairsville, Ohio, over the weekend of October 6th & 7th. Prior to that, Jason will be competing at the ISDE in Chemnitz, Germany, aboard a KTM 300EXC machine as a member of the Great Britain Trophy Team.
