WOR EVENTS staged round 3 of the CF Racing Wednesday night summer championships last night in conditions that were just about perfect. The track was set out quite a bit different from a usual WOR Event with a very fast and flowing field based track including several new wooded areas and a completely new parking and paddock set up. The Oror Estate is a brilliant venue but the 3 times it has been used previously has seen monsoon type weather ruin the day, not so on Wednesday night as at last the sunshine was out and t shirts were the order of the day.
It really was a busy day for WOR, with a first time try out for the popular Race Experience practice day running midweek, then the evening 2 hour event followed on by the launch and open night of the WOR endorsed CF Racing off road shop. An action packed off road day that was well worth all the hard work to set up.
The midweek practice day was a winner, the evening event then had a superb turn out and the open night at the shop was packed to the rafters, so all in all a good day was achieved.
The serious stuff was the racing and with the big open track in perfect condition it was a huge arena for the faster riders to strut their stuff.
